NPL

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) – Unconscious thinking patterns as registered in eye movement, breathing and other body language is analyzed in order to alter unconscious negative, harmful beliefs about healing and illness. Visualization is applied to reprogram and alter these negative beliefs. This therapy is good for phobias, learning disabilities, addictive behavior as well as developing positive behaviors.

What is NLP?

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California. NLP’s creators claim there is a connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and behavioral patterns learned through experience (programming), and that these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life.

Bandler and Grinder also claim that NLP methodology can “model” the skills of exceptional people, allowing anyone to acquire those skills. They claim as well that, often in a single session, NLP can treat problems such as phobias, depression, tic disorders, psychosomatic illnesses, near-sightedness, allergy, common cold, and learning disorders.

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro means neurology; Linguistic means language; programming refers to how that neural language functions. it could also be said as, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!

In NLP, we have a saying: the conscious mind is the goal setter, and the unconscious mind is the goal getter. Your unconscious mind is NOT out to get you–rather, it’s out TO GET FOR YOU whatever you want in life. However, if you don’t know how to communicate what you want properly, it will keep bringing the similar kind of events again and again in life.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is like a user’s manual for the brain, and taking an NLP training is like learning how to become fluent in the language of your mind so that your unconscious or subconscious mind will finally understand what you actually want out of life.

NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others. It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists who got results with their clients. NLP is a set of tools and techniques, but it is so much more than that. It is an attitude and a methodology of knowing how to achieve your goals and get results.
